How to remove Snap.do Completely?

I already removed the program through my control panel, already went into my google chrome settings into manage search engine but now I can't delete it anymore and can't set anything else as default, my specifics pages and search engines are always changed back to http://search.snap.do, it is driving me insane. Help, please???

Snap.do, what mire is there to say. Ad/Remove doesn't get rid of it. Reset Firefox to default does not either. Windows Security Essentials and Malwarebytes are finding well over a dozen trojans. Is there a simple fix?

My home page has changed to search.snap.do search engine, Today when i open my internet explorer it says snap.do at home page, and when i changed it my revert back to google, it won’t allow to change it, it’s again setup the snap.do as my homepage permanent, Is that a virus ? What does Snap.do do in the infected PC?

Snap.do or search snap.do is a notorious browser hijacker. It always gets into the PC by pretending to be useful software. How to prevent from being infected by virus like snap.do?

(1) You cannot be too careful when you install free software into your PC; you should always choose custom installation and avoid install anything that are unfamiliar to you.
(2) Be cautious when clicking some link. It can point your browser to download threats or visit malicious web site.
(3) Avoid opening unknown e-mail attachments

Method one: manually get rid of Snap.do

1.End all the running processes of Snap.do
Open task manager by pressing Alt+Ctrl+Del keys at the same time. Another way is to click on the Start button and choose Run option, then type taskmgr into and press OK.

 2. Remove malicious add-on and extensions from your web browsers.
Internet Explorer:

Firefox:
 (1). Click the Firefox menu and click Add-on

 3. Disable any suspicious startup items that are made by Snap.do.
Windows Vista or Windows7: click start menu→type msconfig in the search bar → open System Configuration →Disable all possible startup items generated.


 4. Clean cookies
 Internet Explorer: Tools → Internet Options →the General tab, Delete the Cookies button can be directly seen in IE6, IE7 is to click the Delete Browsing History button then tick Cookies and click Delete.

 Firefox: Tools → Options → Privacy → Remove Individual Cookies → Delete corresponding cookies in the cookies showing box.

Opera: Tools → Preferences → Advanced → Cookies →Delete corresponding cookies in Management Cookies.

 5. Show all hidden files and clean all the malicious files about Snap.do
(1).Click the Start button and choose Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, to find Folder Options then double-click on it. (2).In the pop-up dialog box, click the View tab and uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).
 

(3). Clean all the malicious files about this infection as below.

6. Delete malicious registry entries related to Snap.do.
Open Registry Editor by pressing Window+R keys together.(another way is clicking on the Start button and choosing Run option, then typing into Regedit and pressing Enter. )
 
Delete all the vicious registries as below:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System “DisableTaskMgr” = 1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\run\random
