Remove GorillaPrice Program—Stop GorillaPrice Pops up

GorillaPrice is categorized as adware which is designed genuinely by the cyber criminals to make money. The adware aims on increasing web traffic for its client’s websites which promote various products. Thus, in order to attract users’ attention, it claims that it can give users more than enough choices of coupons and discounts that can be used while shopping online. Usually, the GorillaPrice ads are shown as boxes containing sponsored links or various kinds of coupons that are available. These ads keep popping up on Google, Amazon, Facebook and other shopping websites that you are visiting.

Users may wonder why the pop up ads are so match to their interests. And sometimes cannot resist to the temptation and click these ads. This is because when this notorious stays longer in the infected PC it will start its keylogger behaviors to record users’ browser history, collect terms from the search enquiries and then send these message to the its associates-the online merchants to analyze your habits.
In your end, what you see is plenty of ads mostly related from your previous search queries. Though your interest is almost there, you must take caution before clicking any of the ads.

As GorillaPrice.exe uses too much CPU or memory when it is running in the background, the whole performance of the infected PC will be influenced dramatically. The computer runs more and more slowly, and sometimes, it shut down suddenly before you are able to save the editing data. Therefore, GorillaPrice adware should be removed as soon as possible before it makes your system crashes.

One case of suffering the attack of GorillaPrice adware

My browser started to pop-up ads from gorillaprice yesterday. I just noticed that the adware only uncovers when viewing merchant web sites like Amazon, Ebay, Bestbuy, etc… Normal Internet browsing is not affected by the virus at all.

I found a GorillaPrice entry under add/remove program of Control Panel. When I try to uninstall the software, it opens a browser asking me to download ‘Uninstaller’. Funny thing is, my antivirus detects gorillaprice uninstaller as a threat so it was instantly put into quarantine. I did try to delete gorillaprice.exe from Program Files folder but Windows says it is being used and cannot be removed.

Scanning the computer with several antivirus programs doesn’t help in any way. Actaully, no threats or any suspicious entity were found during the scan. I did use System Restore instead to reverse the changes that gorillaprice virus has made. Sadly, the adware is still in one piece. I really cannot remove this unwanted program from my PC.

Is there any other method I should carry out to remove gorillaprice from the browser and Windows? I am willing to try any valid removal tool that you will recommend.
