Permanently Get Rid of Wrapper.z5x.net

How annoying Wrapper.z5x.net is!

Case one: It is suck that my browser is infected with Wrapper.z5x.net Virus. And I keep getting redirections when I work in the Internet. No matter how many times I reset my browser settings, Wrapper.z5x.net comes back again and again. I am really upset. :L

Case two:  My Dell Inspiron 600m has suddenly grown a mind.  Upon boot, it simply boots.  After a period of time, time varies, it opens Internet Explorer without prompting and redirects from the default home page (blank) to h t t p: / / wrapper.z5x.net/prepop.html?ad_type...

If I close IE, then reopen using the icon, it opens to msn.com (not the default home page).
It has Avast! anti-virus, which is up-to-date.  It no longer has malware bytes.  I know I installed Malware Bytes before it was brought to New Hampshire for the summer.

Is this a known issue?  Is it malware?  Is it virus?  (No, I have not clicked on anything when it opens on its own.  I close IE. Thank you
