How Do I Remove Win32:SmartBar-A Completely from My PC

What did I do when Win32:SmartBar-A entered into my PC?

A week ago, my Avast anti-virus program kept reporting the threat of Win32:SmartBar-A every few minutes. I tried to use the Avast anti-virus program to delete this computer virus, however, Avast virus removal tool failed to clean it out of the infected computer completely. Every time, the scan seemed to successful, however, when I restarted the infected PC after the scan, Win32:SmartBar-A popped up again, I think Avast virus removal tool can just pick it up, but this computer infection is too stubborn and can not be  removed by automatically scans.

As a result, I searched in the internet and tried and manual removal guide.
Firstly, I restarted my PC into safe mode with networking. For doing that, you must hit F8 key repeatedly when the PC booting up. And then use the arrow key to highlight Safe mode with Networking option and hit enter key.

Here is the screenshot of this step

Secondly, I ended all the running processes of Win32:SmartBar-A in my PC from the Task manager.

And then, I opened the control panel to show all the hidden files and folders

At last, I searched every corner of the infected PC and removed all the strange files, folders and registries. I list some of the strange things I have removed as below.
%AppData%\random.exe
%LocalAppData%\random.dat
%LocalAppData%\random.exe
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "" = "%LocalAppData%\\random.exe"
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\AAWTray.exe\Debugger svchost.exe
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\AVCare.exe

I am so lucky and delete this notorious computer virus. and now I also want to tell people

What did I suffer when Win32:SmartBar-A invaded into my PC.

To be honest, I really do not have the idea how Win32:SmartBar-A infiltrated into my PC, I just operated the computer and did the things as usual. And later, I searched the internet and noticed that e this tricky virus can hide in the email attachment. I did open some strange emails that day. Maybe it is this opening give the virus a chance to sneak into my PC.

When Win32:SmartBar-A stayed in my PC, it kept popping up alerts and scan reports to me. Once I clicked one of them, I was navigated to a website that was full of pornographic contents and pictures. And also, this notorious computer virus displayed some commercial ads every time I searched the internet that really made me so annoyed.

These are the obvious symptoms I can find on my infected PC. When I did the research, I also noticed that this Trojan horse has the ability to record browser history and steal users’ personal data. I was lucky to remove Win32:SmartBar-A once I have noticed its trace and stopped it staying longer in my PC.

If you are one of the people who are experiencing the interruption of Win32:SmartBar-A, you should remove the virus right now. You can consult my manual removal method above to delete Win32:SmartBar-A yourself, or you can contact computer experts 24/7 online for help. Good luck to you.
